“If I were decked out in my stillettos, hair and makeup ready every day, then I might draw a little more attention to myself,” the actress says.
So is she prepared for the sudden stardom that the remake of the 1933 ape classic — directed by Peter Jackson of the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy — could bring her?

Watts’ long-time Aussie pal Nicole Kidman is confident that “The Ring” star “is more than ready” for celebrity status. But Kong’s damsel in distress isn’t so sure, calling the prospects “kinda frightening.”
