Naomi Watts in “The Birds” Remake?
Universal Pictures is partnering with Michael Bay’s
production company Platinum Dunes to produce
a remake of Alfred Hitchcock’s 1963 horror classic,
“The Birds.”
Michael Bay remaking Alfred Hitchcock?
That feels more like a threat than a promise.
But the idea of casting Naomi Watts in the role
made famous by Tippi Hedren sounds exciting.
No details are available yet, and no
director has been announced, but
Daphne Du Maurier’s short story will
possibly be adapted by screenwriter
Leslie Dixson.
