Children won’t change Naomi’s career
Naomi Watts has laughed off speculation she’ll focus solely on making family films now she’s a mum. Naomi gave birth to baby Alexander last July (07), and has been inundated with questions over her career plans now she has an impressionable youngster to raise. She says, “Am I going to become a Disney girl? No! Someone asked me whether I’d make Funny Games now as a parent. I think I would. I’d hope that my child, when he’s ready to see it - which won’t be for a very, very long time - would understand it and if he didn’t we’d do our best to explain it to him. But I’m not going to suddenly turn up in popcorn movies just because I’ve got a kid now.”
